Meet the Collector
It started with one “unnecessary” vase — and a minimalist boyfriend who swore we didn’t need it.
Artifacts of Desire is a love letter to the objects that make life richer, stranger, and more beautiful — the ones you may not need, but can’t stop thinking about.
It’s part editorial curation, part personal diary, and part tongue-in-cheek ode to the pursuit of objects that are both useful and beautiful.”
Living with a minimalist means my endless search for aesthetic, quality-crafted things needs somewhere to go. This space is my outlet: a place to catalog obsessions, share discoveries, and celebrate design that elevates the everyday.
Here, you’ll find themed roundups, design crushes, and product obsessions told through a lover-of-aesthetic-objects lens (with a minimalist boyfriend lurking in the background, silently judging). My mission? To make you look at everyday things like SPF, olive oil, or a sculptural vase and think: This is not just an object. This is a whole mood.
Artifacts of Desire isn’t about following trends blindly — it’s about discovering beautiful, quality pieces that tell your story, spark conversation, and maybe even cause a playful domestic debate or two. ;)
